It is my pleasure to still be able to provide you with the instruction booklet for “The Batwing”, especially in time for the new LEGO BATMAN MOVIE 🙂
I have spent over 2 months revers engineering and building this model plus 4 weekends to get the model digitalized and the instruction booklet finished as PDF.
You can see all the pictures of the finished Batwing in my FlickR Album here.
Countless hours and massive amounts of sweat and patience were spent to make this possible and available for all you fellow Lego Fans out there.
Please understand that I do not want to give this manual away for free, so I ask you for a small fee to show your appreciation…
How to get the instruction manual?
€ 20,- (EURO Twenty)
transfer via PayPal to my E-Mail: email@example.com
If possible please include a short message and your E-Mail to make it easier for me to process your request. The PDF will then be sent via wetransfer.com because of its file-size, and to limit the availability of the link.
Can I buy the Batwing as a full set?
Yes you can! If you want you can buy a full custom BATWING Lego Set via my partner ebay-shop, find the latest listing under this link and check it out. It includes all parts and the instructions for you to start building immediately after you receive it!
Please understand that this instruction PDF is just for your private use, please do not send it to other persons or upload it to any website / publish it anywhere – Duplication / Changing this PDF is strictly prohibited.
I have new instructions available, this time for the all time classic Batmobile. Get the PDF for FREE!

Build the classic 1966 Batmobile with this free instruction booklet. You can use the Lego 9464 Vampyre Hearse as base model for this build, then you just need to add a few bricks and pieces to complete it! Let me know how you like it 🙂
Head over to neoape.com to see all the instructions pages of the SDCC 2014 exclusive LEGO set – The classic Batmobile!
With these scans you can now build this exclusive SDCC 2014 Lego set by yourself and add it to your collection. Of course you may lack the minifigures or the original packaging… but the car is a nice addition for everyones collection!
I often get asked how it was possible to get my Lego “The Batwing” from The Lego Movie nearly identical to the movie version. The “secret” is one of my favorite Lego Games of all times: The Lego Movie Video Game.
This game is just as awesome as the movie and gives you the possibility to see all the places and explore all the locations you see in the movie. Plus it comes with a lot of bonus that you do not see or discover in the Movie itself.
So why is it the most important and best of all the Lego Games for me? Because one of the bonus instructions in there is the Golden Instruction for “The Batwing”. Now a lot of you might think that this is a full instruction I just used to build it quick and easy… you could not be more surprised that in this Lego Game instruction, all you see are a few very quick and rushed steps, the focus is on finding and adding missing pieces.
For example you can take a look at this clip on youtube to see how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1T7PLKT6yQY
As you can see, there is actually not much to see. So what I did is building this instruction over and over again, countless times, day in and out. I also tried to snap screenshots using a third party program (because it is not possible to do so in this Lego Game) and recorded my own video in higher resolution to see more details.
It helped me more than the movie scenes did, and I can say that this game helped me a lot in reverse engineering “The Batwing” and get the build finished (which still took 2 months, countless sleepless nights thinking about various parts plus buying around 900 parts to finish this 1400 part model).
But besides that, it is not the only reason why this is one of the greatest Lego Games ever made. It includes a lot of scenes from the movie, some of the levels are a lot of fun to go through, many easter eggs to find and of course it is just super awesome to fly around with Superman or Green Lantern and then jump back to Benny the Spaceman or Wildstar and give those robots a fair beating!!
It is 6 days until the new Lego UCS 76023 “The Tumbler” will hit the shelves in the Lego Store. But a few have already been popping up on Ebay.
Even though most of them are overpriced and sellers stating that it will be shipped on 18th of August when released, one buyer got very lucky and already received it!
You can find the story on this Facebook Group for Lego Collectors. Most interesting seem to be the tires, they look like to be the biggest ones so far, especially produced just for this set!
Are you also excited about The Tumbler? Will you get one for yourself? Let me know in the comments 🙂
Well after countless of hours rebuilding “The Batwing” in the Bricksmith APP I am nearing the finish line. I have integrated a few improvements and changed some parts, especially in the inner structure and cockpit for more stability.
But I have to be honest, the first pages and first steps when building this massive creation will be a bit unstable and testing your patience, but once you passed those steps it will get better and better.
And I really hope that it won’t be to complicated, although I trust you fellow AFOLs out there to manage it quite nicely and I am sure that some of you maybe even find more ways of improving its structure and stability when building it.
The Lego Instruction Manual for “The Batwing” I reverse engineered right out of “The Lego Movie” is in progress. I am working on it using Bricksmith on my iMac and will then export this to LPub… and there I need to set all the steps and pages up for you guys.
